Development History

In January, 2004, TOA-DIC Zhangjiagang was founded.

• When founded, this company had the registered capital of 4.2 million US dollars. After that, the registered capital was increased to 5.6 million US dollars.
• Toagosei Group and DIC (CHINA) CO., LTD. had the capital contribution of 60% and 40%, respectively.

In April, 2005, the plant was commissioned.

• The project was completed and the equipment was installed in place and commissioned with water.
• The employees included 19 technicians in Manufacturing Department, 4 officers in office, 5 employees in Japan, and 6 manufacturing assisters in ARONIX Division of Nagoya Plant.

In September,2005,the start-up ceremony was hold.

• After successful commissioning, the start-up ceremony, which about 230 participants participated in, was grandly held on September 8, 2005. The 8th day of September was especially meaningful, i.e. 9 (Chinese pronunciation of September) meant long-lasting, and 8 (Chinese pronunciation of the 8th day) meant fortune. Thus, the 8th day of September meant a better vision for the sustainable profit-making future of this company.

In January, 2009, this company had the 5th anniversary.

• In April, 2009, this company was successfully certified to ISO9001 and ISO14001 for the first time.

In January, 2014, his company had the 10th anniversary.

In December, 2017, the share right was changed.

• The foreign-funded enterprise was changed into Chinese-foreign joint venture company
• consisting of Toagosei Group and DIC Zhangjiagang with the capital contribution of 76.1% and 23.9%, respectively.

In March, 2018, this Chinese-foreign joint venture company was successfully certified to the upgraded ISO9001 and ISO14001 (2015).
